Join us to learn exciting new techniques, make some new knitting friends, or just beat the summer heat!

YARNING AROUND--Choose a project that will challenge your skill or work on something simple and enjoy the conversation and company of fellow knitters
Classes meet once a week for two hours
Cost:  $45 per month
Select a day and time from the following :
    Monday  6-8 pm
    Tuesday  10am-noon
    Tuesday   6-8 pm
    Thursday  10am-noon
    Sunday  12-2pm
    Every other Wednesday  6-8 pm
No refunds for missed classes, however makeups can be taken during any class with an opening.
Extra sessions allowed at no charge (space available)

LEARN TO KNIT—Master all of the foundation skills you need to be a knitting success.  A variety of skills are learned by making a sampler scarf.
Sundays  June 22, 29, July 13, 20, and August 3    3-5 pm    $50

KNITTING FROM THE NECK DOWN—A great class for knitters who would like to move on to sweaters or sweater knitters who would just like to make something that fits! There is minimal finishing required and a great amount of control over fit.  We have several patterns for both children and adults.

BEADED BRACELET—Learn to knit with beads while making this fabulous bracelet.
Thursday  June 19  5-8 pm   $10 (with Beth Caulfield)

LIZARD RIDGE AFGHAN—Make an incredible afghan using short row techniques and Noro’s Kureyon yarn.  Learn the technique while making the first square in class, then finish it at your own pace.
Saturday  June 21   10 am- 1 pm    $15   (pattern provided)

SIMPLY SENSATIONAL THROW—Do you have leftover yarn that you’re not sure what to do with?  (Is this a silly question?)  Beth has written a throw pattern for this very situation. Along with a base yarn, you can use your own scraps, buy some yarn at Sheep Thrills, or purchase one of our fabulous kits.  This three hour class gives you the know-how to use up some of your stash.

BONSAI BAG—Make this adorable bag from a variety of different yarns.  Our shop sample was knit with Bonsai.  We have the leather handles and the dowels that are used in this great bag.

TEDDY BEAR—This class has been requested by many of you, so here it is!  Stop in to see our resident sample—he is so cute!  No one believes he is knit.

MODULAR FELTED BAG—Learn modular knitting; learn to felt.  This bag is great with either knit or leather handles.

BATHING BEAUTIES—Knit some great hostess and holiday gifts and learn the ins and outs of knitting lace.  These three sets of lace facecloths and soap sacks take you through the basics of knitting lace, including knitting lace in the round.

BEADED DRAWSTRING BAG—Work on a small beaded bag while learning four common techniques to incorporate beads in knitting.  If time allows, we will explore other techniques for adding beads to knitting.
